As an experienced and passionate Technical / Data architect, you will bring a wealth of experience to futures clearing. Help us create a brand-new stream-based clearing system using the latest technologies. You will play a key role in the transformation of global clearing system from a legacy 3 tier architecture to a modern architecture.

By partnering with global teams across our organisation, you will lead the system, solution and data architecture design for building the next generation of clearing platform with latest technology. You will define the target architecture with industry wide leading technology and ensure it fits in the overall bank-wide strategy. Meanwhile you will also lead the architecture review and improvement in our current tech stack.

You will bring a relevant Bachelor’s degree, coupled with your prior experience as a solution architect and achievements in the delivery of large-scale projects with technical innovation. You will have deep understanding of industry wide leading technology such as streaming applications, Kafka/Pulsar, Kubernetes, micro services, non-relational DB, cloud, etc. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with cross functional teams in different regions, both internal and external. You will mentor the development team in the correct implementation of your designs.

In addition, you will need to have strong ability to communicate your vision in both the technical and business domains and be able to influence and manage stakeholders efficiently.
