Hours of Work

37.5 hrs per week over 5 days to include weekends & bank holiday working. 
1 weekend off in every 4. Live out.

Our Odney Hotel is a beautiful John Lewis and Partners hotel, set in 130 acres by the River Thames in Cookham, Berkshire. With 78 bedrooms spread across 5 different houses, the hotel has unique character and charm. Used by John Lewis and Waitrose Partners and their guests Odney Hotel has the feel of an exclusive members club.

As Supervisor you'll set a great example and passionately lead your team to deliver an exceptional guest experience in the restaurant and occasionally in other areas across the estate.

You'll enjoy developing excellent product knowledge to share with guests and your team.

You'll supervise the restaurant operation to ensure all tasks are fully completed to meet opening and closing duties of service.
 

Job Requirements

With a great eye for detail you'll ensure high operational standards are achieved and all service areas are maintained to a high standard according to the Food Safety Policy.

As first point of contact, you'll positively resolve any guest queries. You'll supervise the restaurant operation to ensure all tasks are fully completed to meet opening and closing duties of service, as well as completing cash handling duties.

 

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

Full training will be given, although experience of working in Hospitality/ F&B is essential.

Experience of leading and motivating a team
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
 

Desirable experience skills and qualifications

Food Hygiene Level 2 Health and Safety Level 2
Proud and passionate to deliver excellent guest service
Motivatedwith a positive attitude
