This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Talent Acquisition team situated within the wider HR team on a part time, flexible 30 hours per week basis. Predominantly based in our Bracknell office, with 1 day a week in our Basingstoke office (more travel to Basingstoke will be required initially).

This part time role is ideal for anyone looking to work 30 hours over either 4 or 5 days per working week.

Responsibilities:

To manage a seamless recruitment process from candidate attraction through to on boarding; working with a variety of managers on a wide range of roles from Administration to Senior Management, Sales to Product Management, all with a focus of being “Customer Obsessed”.

Responsible for the recruitment for the quarterly intake of Internal Sales Executive through Tech Data’s industry leading, established Academy and maintaining a pipeline of talent for Tech Data. The successful candidate will need to fully understand Tech Data’s culture and value proposition, the requirement of the managers for the open role being recruited for and fully understand the role being sourced.

There will be a requirement to telephone screen candidates to ensure first line requirements are met and to then arrange interviews for the managers and manage this whole process through our Work Day system and uphold best practices.

To aid the continuous improvement of Tech Data’s Employer Brand and Employee Value Proposition and ensure it is marketed effectively to attract high quality candidates.

To assist the learning and training of managers around competency led / based interviews and resourcing. Training new managers on hiring processes and policies.

 

What we require:

We are looking for a commercially minded, approachable and passionate individual to join our established Talent Acquisition team. We are looking for someone who has a good eye for detail, the ability to plan and priority manage and someone who can be trusted to work autonomously and with integrity. The successful candidate will ideally come from within the IT channel or from IT recruitment and have a demonstrable understanding of the requirements of employees within the IT industry. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal will be essential with the ability to adapt communication styles according to audiences.

We require a minimum of 5 years working experience ideally within IT Sales, IT Recruitment or In-House recruitment.

Qualifications:

GCSE English and Math – level C / 4 or above

Degree level education favourable but not essential.

UK driving license required.
