We are recruiting a Digital Demand Analyst to join the department’s Digital Service (DS) Business Relationship Management team to develop deeper understanding of demand requests, business priorities and user need by building stakeholder relationships and using business analysis methodologies. 

You will be working closely with the acting Digital Business Partners and stakeholders across the DfT. 

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to; 

• Capturing and understanding strategic and tactical business needs. 
• Providing problem definitions and preparing project delivery submissions. 
• Identifying, analysing and prioritising business requirements. 
• Providing tailored analysis based on business context and stakeholder perspectives. 
• Identifying opportunities for improvement to increase value and maximise efficiency. 
• Identifying and quantifying business improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

About you 

We are looking for a confident communicator with the ability to utilise a variety of business analysis tools, methods and standards. You will be experienced in facilitating large or complex business changes within a fast-paced environment. This role will typically suit someone who can work well with others, developing key relationships with stakeholders across the business. You will also hold a good eye for detail, helping to identify areas for improvement, simplifying processes and making them more efficient. A Business Relationship Management (APMG) certification is not essential, however it will show you hold a number of necessary qualities to fulfil this role.

Selection process details

This vacancy is using Success Profiles, and will assess your Behaviours, Strengths, Experience and Technical skills.

The sift is due to take place Week Commencing 2nd September. 

Interviews/assessments are likely to be held Week Commencing 16th September. 

Interviews will likely be held in London.

If successful and transferring from another Government Department a security check may be carried out.
