We advise and we speak out for and with disadvantaged young people and adults. We never give up.   Who we are looking for? An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Full time and 1 Part time Resettlement Brokers to join us. You will be based in HMP Wandsworth and will work alongside the healthcare team providing holistic and constructive resettlement support to those with an identified mental health need.  The role will be delivering interventions both in custody and through the gate into the community for those service users with multiple and complex needs. This support can continue for up to 12 weeks post-release in order to ensure that they are fully integrated into ongoing healthcare and other support agencies in the community. You will work closely with statutory resettlement services and healthcare to ensure that the work we do adds value to the statutory offer in HMP Wandsworth, and keeps the service user at the forefront of their resettlement journey. You will be required to deliver 1:1 and group interventions. Including collections on the day of release and community support thereafter. The successful candidate will be:  •    Familiar with the Reducing Reoffending Pathways and have specific experience of providing information, advice and guidance to offenders or ex-offenders in either Housing or homelessness. •    Experienced working within a custodial environment •    Experienced of achieving and evidencing outcomes against performance targets. •    Experienced of developing rapport with Service Users whilst maintaining professional boundaries. •    Experienced of using case management or custody Information Systems. •    Aware and understands of resettlement and the criminal justice system A full drivers licence and access to own vehicle is essential.  A DBS check will be required for this role Please note that this position involves contact with serving prisoners and is subject to prison security clearance.
