We have an opportunity for an Administration Assistant - Adult Education to provide administrative and clerical support to the Head of Adult Education to ensure the efficient running of adult education classes. You will join us on a part time basis (working 25 hours per week, term time only) until December 2019 and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £9,291 per annum.

As our Administration Assistant you will provide administrative and clerical support to the Head of Adult Education in order to ensure the efficient running of classes.

Key responsibilities of our Administration Assistant:

- Set and maintain high levels of customer service

- Provide reception and telephone cover as scheduled by the Head of Adult Education

- Receive enquiries from and provide information and advice to prospective Adult Education students

- Process enrolments for classes, ensuring that details are entered on to the College’s Management Information Systems

- Assist the Head of Adult Education and the marketing department with the promotion and marketing of the department and courses

- Provide reprographics services for relevant courses

- Analyse post course questionnaires at the end of each course

- Undertake such other clerical and administrative duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by College management

- Ensure that data processing is undertaken in accordance with the GDPR

What we’re looking for in our Administration Assistant:

- Educated to A-level standard or equivalent

- Previous experience in an administrative role

- Experience in a customer service focused role

- Excellent IT skills including experience of including Word, Excel, Access and e-mail

- Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team

- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills

- Ability to work cooperatively and flexibly

- Ability to prioritise, organise and co-ordinate workload
