We are looking to recruit an experienced OD&D partner who has the skills & passion to support the HR department in shaping and driving the strategic direction of the people agenda with a focus and energy for Organisational Design and Implementation, working collaboratively with those involved.

Job description

Your key responsibilities will include: 

Working with others in developing and applying OD&D models and frameworks and use them to inform organisation design processes, making recommendations as required 

• Supporting organisational change; specifically working with business leads in developing new operating models that enable future business delivery; and providing advice and practical support on implementation and embedding of new organisational structures and ways of working 

• Design and deliver innovative OD interventions which have significant impact on the department and teams e.g. utilises a wide range of skills, tools and interventions such as coaching, mirroring and challenging, creating safe confidential spaces, team assessments, individual psychometric assessments and organsiaation design principles to effect change. 

• Building open, inclusive, and building collaborative relationships with clients at all levels and be a trusted advisor to enable challenge, influencing decisions and behaviours

We’re looking for an experienced OD&D Partner who not only has working knowledge of HR policies and procedures but someone who is passionate about designing, analysing and implementing positive change within the organisation. 

We are looking to speak with individuals who have experience of working collaboratively and actively business partnering with departments to analyse and advise the leadership team on strategic business decisions relating to the people agenda of the organisation. 

You’ll be confident applying your HR knowledge to set your own direction, influence decisions and thrive whilst managing a dynamic and challenging workload, welcoming a level of autonomy to your role. 

You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to communicate complex information to others, with the capability to provide guidance and information to inform decisions at all levels of the business. 

For this role, it’s essential to be able to proactively manage your workload whilst retaining focus on the key priorities of the department.

Qualifications

Obtained or working towards an OD Level 7 advanced qualification from either the Cabinet OD&D Service or equivalent work experience.

Selection process details

This vacancy is using Success Profiles, and will assess your Behaviours, Strengths, Experience and Technical skills.
