Nescot is a forward-looking College of Further & Higher Education that serves a large area of South East England with a wide range of vocational and academic courses, both full and part time. The College is situated in Ewell, close to Epsom in Surrey, and is located in the green belt near Epsom Downs and can easily be accessed either by car (junctions 8-10 on the M25) or rail (Ewell West is close and the college is next to Ewell East where you can get regular direct trains to Clapham Junction and Victoria).  The College was last inspected in February 2016 retaining its overall grading of ‘Good’ under the robust new Ofsted standards. We are currently recruiting to the following position:  Casual Sports Centre Assistant £9.76 per hour (7.5 hours per week) We require self-motivated individuals with the ability to work alone and deal with all customer enquiries for our busy Sports Centre. Duties will include reception, telephone enquiries, taking bookings, using the computerised booking system, setting up / taking down equipment, carrying out gym inductions, fitness classes, gym programmes and opening / locking up the building. Other duties will include opening/closing of our sports ground, setting up football pitches and floodlit training areas. A first aid qualification and a gym qualification level 2 are both desirable. An interest in sport and/or sport coaching is also useful. You will be required to organise and run children’s sporting birthday parties as and when required. The hours will be at least 7.5 hours p/week with the possibility of more. Hours will vary, either 2:30pm – 10:30pm weekdays or weekends 8:30am – 17:30pm.
