The Regional Manager is responsible for the management of Front of House Receptionists and Marketing Representatives, working at office locations within a designated regional area.


This role supports the South East region covering Southampton, Farnborough, Guildford, Weybridge, Staines, Leatherhead and Uxbridge.
We are looking to recruit an Assistant to work with the regional team. This is a mobile based role providing vital administration and project support to the Regional Manager and the LAH Reception and Marketing teams within the region. You will live near to the M3/M25 ideally living in Surrey around Weybridge or Camberley.

The role
Your excellent administration skills will enable you to take ownership and manage the following -


Administration

  • You will assist in the management of all paperwork required for the efficient operation of a Reception including preparing Reception Notes; standardising ‘master’ templates; updating Contact and Check lists; and helping with efficient Dropbox management.
  • You will co-ordinate training and attendance of First Aid and In-house LAH induction training. You will track Risk Assessments and maintain and Health and Safety documents for each location.
  • You will have responsibility for managing the critical path for any monthly initiatives at each location including liaising with reception teams; providing assistance; progress checking and monitoring timely implementation.
  • You will liaise regularly with Head Office, particularly the Operations Manager and Administrator and work closely with requests from the region for petty cash; sundries orders; and uniform payments.
  • You will assist with holiday monitoring to ensure teams have logged holiday requests and all absences including sickness. You will undertake regular checks so holiday is planned and taken. You will progress-chase sickness forms and follow up ‘return to work meetings’ . 
  • You will work with the Regional Manager on specific projects and the scope of the work will vary dependent on business needs.

Visits to Reception Teams

  • You may be asked to visit independently or accompany the Regional Manager on selected visits to see the Receptionists to carry out welfare, personal development and progress checks. 
  • You will gain exposure to the role of the Regional Manager by accompanying them on these site visits - learning from their leadership skills and your own experiences, ultimately benefiting your own personal development. 

Assistance with Covering a Reception

  • You will not be fazed by travel within the region and will, when the business demands, be asked to provide temporary cover for a reception role within the region, ( which may mean starting early/finishing late), so flexibility is key. Training will be given.

Work schedule

  • This is a part time role working 3 days – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday,
  • approximately *8 hours per day (*hours/start times may vary).
  • The days you work will be agreed but with some flexibility complement the work pattern of the Manager and ensure stability within the region.
  • You will work on a mobile basis within the region, meeting and working with your Regional Manager regularly at agreed locations. Some administration may be possible from a remote location.
  • Responsibilities and job content will change as the role develops. Flexibility is key.

  • £17,000 pa part time, 3 days
