Job description

We are looking to recruit an experienced Resourcing Manager who has the skills & passion to support the wider HR and Recruitment teams in shaping and driving the strategic direction of the people agenda within the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.

Responsibilities

Duties will include but are not limited to: 

• Act as the campaign manager for national operational recruitment and critical roles. 
• Coordinate and manage national campaigns. 
• Provide advice, guidance and support to senior managers across the operational teams on recruitment requirements. Design and deliver workshops to develop managers in all aspects of recruitment. 
• Liaise with a wide-range of stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure campaigns run smoothly. This includes, but is not limited to: Government Recruitment Service (GRS), the DfT Resourcing Group (DRG), our paid media providers, internal hiring managers and candidates (both internal and external). 
• To implement and maintain a robust system of governance to cover all aspects of the recruitment cycle ensuring that all recruitment activities are inclusive, accessible and attract a diverse range of applications. 
• Manage the process for the application of certificates of sponsorship via the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) points based system, ensuring all applications comply with relevant immigration legislation.

Interviews/assessments are likely to be held w/c 23/09/2019.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is an executive agency of the United Kingdom working to prevent the loss of lives at sea and is responsible for implementing British and international maritime law and safety policy. It is also responsible for land based search and rescue helicopter operations from 2015.
