This is a telephoned-based business development role, suitable for somebody who may be returning to the workforce and prefers to work from home.

We are a fast-moving business addressing the changing needs of the executive search industry. Our core product, Ezekia (ww.ezekia.com), is a simple, easy-to-use software toolset providing all the business development, assignment and candidate management capability required by top level executive search firms.  Since April 2018, when the first Ezekia customers went live, we have continued to add new customers all over the world, including some of the top name firms in the industry.

The Ezekia product works alongside Not Actively Looking (notactivelylooking.com), a global candidate portal where senior executives can access support services to help in their career transition and where they can share confidential career information with retained executive search firms on a selective basis.

Working directly with CEO and other members of the senior team, your role will be to identify and set up potential new search firm customers globally, handling initial customer queries and technical questions.

Scope of the role:

  • Market mapping – identifying potential customers globally
  • Developing prospects and lead qualification – speaking directly to search firms in order to assess their potential interest in switching to a new platform
  • Assisting with product demonstration – participating in and leading online product demonstrations via video
  • Closing – following up with potential clients to help in completing the sale

The Person

  • Professional - graduate-level with a good general business understanding
  • Relevant work experience – some kind of telephone-based selling
  • Maturity and confidence - used to dealing with senior people
  • Great telephone manner – confident, professional, authoritative
  • Tenacious and persistent - determined to get the right result
  • Structured, well-organised way of working, good follow up
  • A quick learner
