£8.70 per hour.
My client is recruiting for enthusiastic and motivated support workers on a Part, Full time or Bank basis for their home based in Worcester.
The opportunity is working at a specialist Care Home set in beautiful grounds in the heart of Worcestershire Countryside. It is a varied and dynamic service split into 2 units that accommodates residents from the age of 18 upwards with Functional Mental health conditions that require rehabilitation or have long term care needs. Also clients with acquired brain injuries, Huntington’s and physical health conditions.
This is a perfect opportunity for support workers who like variety and want to continue to develop new skills. We value support workers from different specialisms and varied levels or experience.
Full Training and induction are provided.
Main Duties involve:
-Taking direction from Senior support workers/Team Leaders and registered nurses to provide an excellent standard of care and therapeutic activities for our residents to aid their recovery and independence.
-Supporting and promoting our residents with personal care, nutrition, activities and daily living skills.
-Filling out daily documentation and liaising with families and professionals.
Key working duties.
Support workers on our Functional mental health unit will also have care planning and risk assessment duties supported by nursing staff.
Suitable candidates should have NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, some experience working in the care sector and own transport due to rural location.
