Mpeople Accountancy & Finance is currently seeking a Part Time Accounts Assistant needed for a growing business, based in Radcliffe. Working alongside and being supported by the Head of Finance, you will be assisting in a wide variety of tasks within the accounts function as well as some ad-hoc administration tasks. The role will evolve with business growth and this is an exciting time to get on board with an ethical and vibrant company.

Part time - Permanent

Salary - £18-22k

Location - Radcliffe

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records within the business
Bank reconciliations
Credit control - chasing debt, allocating payments, dealing with queries
Purchase Ledger
Progression onto other duties such as balance sheet reconciliations
Any ad-hoc duties as required.Person Specification:

Experience in an accounts role
AAT Qualified or equivalent experience
Good MS Excel skills - knowledge of VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables would be beneficial
Keen to learn and develop
Team player looking to add value to a strong team
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to work in a focused manner with accuracy
Proven experience working to deadlines
