Governance Administrator

Newent, Gloucestershire

Salary: Circa £22,000 per annum FTE (depending on experience)

Full-time and Part-time considered

6 Month Fixed Term (with potential to be extended)

Our client is looking to recruit a temporary Governance Administrator as soon as possible to join Two Rivers, in their Governance and Executive Support Team.

Reporting to the Head of Governance, you will have a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Boards and Committees for our client and its subsidiary companies. You will be working in a small, friendly and professional team committed to developing a first-class governance and administrative support service to the company’s executive management team and Boards.

This opportunity would ideally suit someone who has experience in governance, but this is not essential. If you are an experienced and dedicated administrator with a commitment to continuous improvement and an interest in governance, they would love to hear from you.

Above all they are looking for someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and proven track record of:

*

providing administrative support at a senior level

*

an organised, proactive and flexible approach to workload

*

working confidently with people at all levels

*

working well under pressure and to tight deadlines

*

minute taking

You will also need to have:

*

a good standard of education

*

strong verbal and written communication skills

*

a high attention to detail

*

a high degree of self-motivation and professionalism

*

integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

*

an appetite to learn and take on new challenges

What’s on Offer

This is a great opportunity for a skilled administrator to further develop their knowledge and experience in governance and company secretarial work. Your colleagues will be keen to share their knowledge and experience with you and involve you in shaping their governance and administrative processes.

Our client has always been deeply committed to training, motivating and developing its people. They have held the Investors in People ‘Gold’ accreditation for several years now and they have won awards for their apprenticeship programme.

They are based in Newent (20 minutes from Gloucester), they have staff parking on site and work in a modern, environmentally-friendly office
