Jason Atherton Restaurants operates fine dining restaurants all over the world including the iconic Pollen Street Social. From its conception in 2011 our restaurant business has expanded over 5 continents and is still growing. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Safety Advisor to join our Head Office team on a part time basis.

Reporting to the Group Operations Director you will support each restaurant with legal requirements of Food Safety also Health & Safety and Environmental safety. You will conduct regular internal audits and support visits, reporting findings and implementing improvements plans.

You will work on improving the HACCP system and food safety procedures based on UK legislations and liaise with external bodies such as EHO and FSA. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date documentation. You will be required to deliver onsite training to Management and teams.

To join us, you will have;

- Experience of a similar role with in high end restaurant environment

- An accredited degree in Food Science, Environmental Safety or similar

- CIEH Level 3 Award Food Safety in Catering or equivalent

- CIEH Level 4 Health & Safety or equivalent

- Previous auditing experience

- A proactive and assertive natural with strong attention to detail

- Exceptional standards

- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business sharing you knowledge and skills
