Role Purpose

This is an international role based in London.

The HR Business Partner will provide Strategic HR Partnering to the Digital business areas and its Senior Leaders to deliver the most effective people plan in alignment with Business Strategy and in conjunction with HRBPs across other locations to ensure the business strategy and priorities are achieved.

The HR Business Partner reports into the Senior Strategic HR Business Partner – Digital.

Key Responsibilities

●  Develop and implement HR / People plans with each of the Heads of Department that drive organisation effectiveness and high performance in a fast-paced environment

●  Provide leadership coaching, support and expertise in the management of all HR matters, effectively "partnering" the business to support the delivery of the people plans

●  Collaborate and influence key people initiatives across Centres of Expertise, from design to implementation

●  Work in partnership with key leaders within the business to deliver organisational change whilst building effective working relationships at all levels of the business globally

● Support implementation of key programmes to drive cultural change e.g. Performance Development

● Actively lead and contribute to key HR projects, including local compensation and benefits alongside group Reward

● Lead in the development and roll out of strategic HR initiatives within the broader HR Strategy

●  Provide single point of contact for own Business unit, challenge, present options, influence and offer guidance within local legislation in conjunction with local HR support

●  Ensure HR provide a consistent set of services to the business, tailored where appropriate to the needs of different areas

●  Lead on employee engagement activity/forums to improve employee feedback and communication with the business partner functions

●  Partner with stakeholders to drive forward engagement plans and increase engagement levels

●  Support the effectiveness of the L&D agenda within the business partner functions to deliver succession planning and drive forward the talent strategy with support from resourcing

●  Work in partnership with the recruitment team to ensure the recruitment process is proactively promoted and stakeholders are supported with clear expectations and guidelines

●  Provide consultancy and advice on all HR related matters, ensuring adherence to all legal and best practice obligations including employment law, employee relations, disciplinary and grievances, performance management, change management/restructuring and absence management

●  Develop and drive forward an effective performance management process across the business to deliver the high-performance culture required, ensuring clear objectives, feedback and the improvement of performance delivery

●  Support the business area with the management development of their people, providing advice, guidance and ad-hoc training

●  Generate new ideas on generating competitive advantage through our colleagues

●  Support the wider HR Team with projects or adhoc support where required

Qualifications

Qualifications and Educational Requirements 


Ideally CIPD qualified and Degree educated, however candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.

Specialist skills and experience required 

● Experience of working within an Ulrich business partner model and within a matrix model environment

● Experience of working within an Ulrich business partner model and within a matrix model environment

●The ability to build credible relationships with business stakeholders with the conviction to make HR owned decisions and influence other decisions within the business

● Ability to handle complex issues and a capability to make sound judgement decisions in time pressured situations.

● Resilience and tenacity to deliver sustainable business outcomes through our people. These outcomes will be both commercial and pragmatic to meet the business needs.

● The ability to contribute to the strategic direction, focus on core priorities and a relentless drive to achieve results in the shortest time possible without compromising on quality.

● Linked to this the ability to delegate effectively to others knowing when and how to concentrate on the issues that really matter and to not feel the need to intervene in all areas

● Evidence of practical application of policy, procedure and local employment legislation

● Demonstrates commercial acumen and pragmatism in delivering HR solutions in the business

● A track record of making a broad contribution to a business, beyond what may be seen as the HR/people remit; commercial acumen

● Pragmatic and not overly theoretical, can demonstrate the ‘stuff they do actually works’

● Evidence of continuous professional HR career progression/development

●  Proven ownership / project management of multiple change projects
