Waking Night Care Assistants required to join the team at a Dementia Care Home in the New Forrest

We are currently recruiting for Waking Night Care Assistants for a 24 bed Dementia Care Home on the Hampshire, Wiltshire boarder. The Carer's job is for full or part time hours. Shifts run 7pm-7am. Our client offers competitive rates of pay depending on experience The home is a renovated, large country house that offers a home from home atmosphere and large garden for residents to sit out and enjoy the sunshine

Your new role
As a Waking Night Care Assistant, you will deliver the highest quality of care and support to residents should they wake at night. You will be required to assist residents with any personal care duties and provide comfort and support throughout the night. There will also be some general home duties such as cleaning and laundry. You will be working closely with the Senior staff & Nurses to ensure that the home is run as smoothly as possible.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a caring and patient individual with a cheerful demeanour
To be flexible, so you can adapt to the requirements of the home and the needs of the residents
Experience not essential as full training will be given
To understand Dementia & Alzheimer's is important
Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care desirable.
