Are you a successful and experienced Operations Manager with experience working within a manufacturing environment? Are you passionate about business improvements and are looking for a new and exciting challenge?

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business/Finance Operations Manager to join our clients small manufacturing business near Marlborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the efficiency of operations, whilst supporting new business processes.

Responsibilities

Maximising manufacturing efficiencies whilst reducing downtime and minimising waste
Management of planning and budgeting
Manage business plans in line with company financial targets
Manage the business financial forecasting whilst analysing key business drivers
Collating data and producing business and financial reports
Continuously improve all operational processes to provide scope for growth and more efficient work flow and operational effectiveness
Optimising inventory levels and ensuring traceability of materials
Monitor financial targets
Manage the cash flow of the business, ensuring working capital is optimised and targets are met

Person Specification

Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or logistics environment is essential
You'll be goal-driven and target-oriented, always able to step back and appreciate the bigger picture,
Successful candidates will be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
You'll have previous experience within an operations-based role
Advanced Excel skills for report writing
You'll be able to demonstrate a track record of team leadership within a large scale, fast-moving and process-driven environment
You're able to manage, motivate and influence positive work behaviours in employees whilst ensuring key business objectives are met
