Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £11.41 per hour

Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, either 8.30am – 1.30pm or 9.00am – 2.00pm

We are currently looking to recruit for a Expenses & Payroll Administrator to work 25 hours per week over 5 days for a busy manufacturer within friendly environment. You will be working as part of a small finance department where you will be: Preparing the payroll, processing expenses and monitoring and administering weekly & monthly timesheets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Reconciling staff hours including standard working hours, overtime, shift allowances and absences

* Checking and administering sickness and holiday hours

* Updating and maintaining payroll spreadsheets, reconciling control totals

* Submit pension contributions

* Maintaining petty cash records

* Process expense / mileage claims for employees

The successful applicant will possess:

* Working knowledge of payroll preparation and expenses within a busy, structured company

* A payroll or accounting qualification is desirable

* Excellent written & oral communication

* Excellent numerical and analytical skills

* Ability to work efficiently to resolves queries

* Ability to work to strict deadlines and timescales

Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, either 8.30am – 1.30pm or 9.00am – 2.00pm
