Becoming a Senior Technical Consultant with Employee Benefits - Full Time/Part Time

We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to be based out of our office in Leeds, to deliver in-depth high standards of technical support to all business areas within Capita Employee Benefits and to support the Head of Technical in achieving the Technical Team's objectives.

You will monitor and research legislative developments, to ensure that all business practices are informed of the implications, to engage in the development of existing and new product solutions and to mentor/coach less experienced members of the Team.

What you will do

  • Research and interpret legislative developments in the pensions and employee benefits sector.

  • Draft and peer review technical responses to internal staff and clients.

  • Analyse the impact of legislative change to the business and clients.

  • Proactive communications on legislative developments to raise business awareness and planning, and support implementation projects.

  • Ensure that all communications and research material owned by the Technical Team is compliant and up to date

  • Design and delivery of regular training sessions to consultancy and administration staff

    Your experience will include:

  • Can demonstrate high level knowledge of pensions and tax law, and ability to interpret complex legislation.

  • Relevant experience in senior administration, consultancy or technical roles.

  • Relevant PMI, CII or appropriate level 5 or above qualification

  • Desirable to have a background in employee benefits as well as pensions
