Job Details

Our client is looking for a creative and practical thinker who is able to analyse and present data to enable better understanding and action in line with their strategic purpose as an Business Intelligence Lead.

Position: Business Intelligence Lead

Location: Flexible (office based or home based)

Hours: 35 hours per week (part time hours will be considered)

Salary: circa £35,500 per annum (National), circa £38,799 per annum (including £3,299 inner London weighting) – pro rata if part time

Contract: Permanent

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Evaluation and Impact, the Business Intelligence Lead will:

 

  • Driving a ‘test & learn’ culture: Initiate projects in collaboration with different parts of the organisation that push forwards the ongoing use of evidence encourage and maintain a culture of innovation and knowledge.
  • Data leadership:Work with senior leaders to develop the organisation’s approach to evidence and business intelligence.
  • Identify solutions for strategic opportunities to improve systems and processes: Provide expertise to colleagues across the organisation to identify and address the organisation’s business intelligence tools, performance monitoring and data needs.
  • Develop data analysis capabilities across the organisation:Advise and provide guidance on the accurate collection, development, dissemination and use of data and data systems internally.

 

About You

The successful candidate will have proven experience of:

 

  • Extracting and analysing complex data sets to generate meaningful and actionable insight
  • Supporting organisations to achieve better use of data and insights
  • Designing, building and implementing successful solutions through effective use of business intelligence tools (e.g. Logi, Tableau, SQL), in a timely fashion
  • Communicating insight in a way which is understandable and meaningful to a wide range of audiences including those who are not data literate
