Warehouse Operative -Tamworth -

Monday to Friday - Days - £8.21

Monday- Friday -Afternoons- £8.50

Meridian Business Support are looking for warehouse operatives to come and join their award winning team based in Tamworth, with full time and part time vacancies available;

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work in peak)
Shift times (full time): 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:30- 23:00
Shift times (part time): 10:00 - 14:00

As warehouse operative you will be required to complete various warehouse duties , Ensuring Quality is of the highest standards which also using the aid of Counter Balance or Reach Truck to ensure handling and loading is completed correctly.

The Role:
· Working in a team environment in a safe manner adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work
· Ensuring Quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care so it arrives at our customers in perfect condition
· Picking stock accurately and efficiently
· Operating Mechanical Handling Equipment
· Checking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch
· A range of duties to support the operational efficiency, general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site

Experience & Qualifications:
· Previous warehouse experience
· FLT experience is desirable but not essential
· Ability to read and understand instructions
· Ability to count accurately to enable the correct picking of stock
· Have appropriate hand, eye and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment safely
