Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Specialists are looking to recruit a part-time Lecturer in Project Management who will have the opportunity to work with a prestigious FE provider in their state-of-the-art facility in Birmingham/Doncaster.
The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver education and training for learners specialising in or studying modules and apprenticeships in Project Management. This will include the project life cycle, project governance, project stakeholder management, scope management, schedule management, resource management, contract management and procurement and project controls.
As the lecturer you will have the opportunity to take ownership and deliver high quality teaching and learning.
Key responsibilities
Help prepare teaching and learning to meet industry and awarding body specification standards.
Provide high quality teaching and learning
Provide constructive feedback to learners
Provide advice and guidance on progress and set learning targets
Work with awarding bodies, university partners, industry organisations, professional bodies, employers, other FE providers, trailblazing groups and government organisations.
Produce learning resources
Participate in curriculum development
Actively support and promote the college E Learning strategy
Act as a personal tutor to learners
Work with stakeholders to ensure curriculum meets the needs of employers and the industry
To support guest lecturers by providing guidance and ongoing help in the techniques.The Candidate
The successful candidate must hold a professional qualification and skills in project management. You must also have the drive and passion to teach others, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of audiences both within and outside the college.
This position may suit an individual who has a vast amount of Project Management experience and who is looking to inspire and train the next generation of Project Managers.
Essential
Must hold an AMP or Prince 2 qualification
Previous experience in Project Management
Strong communication skills - written, oral and during presentations.
Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a teaching qualificationClosing date: 6th September 2019
