Do you know a Bookkeeper to work with Parsons Accountants, based just off the M1 in Wakefield. There is also an option to work from the Denby Dale office.

The main proportion of the work will be to support two of their larger clients within the practice portfolio. The bookkeeper vacancy could be recruited on a part-time or full-time basis, the are various options as listed above. Parsons offer flexibility to please contact us to discuss your options.

You will have experience of undertaking bookkeeping duties and ideally be used to dealing with client requests. If you are AAT qualified / part qualified that would be perfect, if you are qualified by experience then your application will still be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities will include;

Month-end accounting
Posting journals
Banking and payment runs
Cash-flow forecasting
Expenses
Preparing VAT returns
Bank Reconciliations

You will already have good experience of working within a similar accounts role. You will have a good understanding of accounts packages such as Sage 50 or Xero and you will also be conversant with Excel. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to deal with people at all levels, both within the business and externally.
