This average-sized community school in Crawley is looking for an engaging and creative Year 1 teacher to join their forward-thinking school team from the 16th of October to cover the current teacher's scheduled surgery and recovery. This role will be required in the first instance until April 2020. The role is a Part-time job share that is required 3 days a week (Wednesday- Friday) and includes joint full class teacher responsibilities. The school is recognised as an Ofsted Good school with elements of outstanding. This school has strived to make a positive change in the last years and has done so with a revolutionary team and supportive senior leadership. The staff are supported from the get-go and as a result, the school has an exemplary staff retention rate. The school currently educates over 350 pupils from the local catchments and is always fully subscribed. ● Teaching Qualification
● Relevant teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
● Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
● Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:
● Providing engaging and interactive lessons
● Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
● Planning and preparing all subjects within the current national curriculum
