Job Details

Our national HR team has entered an exciting new chapter and as HR Adviser for the West, you could play a really important part of it.

In this amazing role you will provide HR advice to our Bristol office as well some of our nationally important sites across the West Region on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover for maternity leave. Supporting our teams at stunning and fascinating locations such as Pendennis Castle, Tintagel Castle and Kenilworth Castle. You'll find it's a workplace like no other - taking you behind the scenes of our extraordinary sites and supporting you to share your ideas, inspire others and make a difference.

You will have a key role alongside the HR Business partner in this fast-paced role, using your consultative approach to support employees and managers across our commercial, heritage and corporate departments. Every day will bring a new challenge and so you will be naturally adaptable as well as enjoying influencing a range of stakeholders to enable them to achieve our organisation objectives.

At the heart of this role you will focus on coaching managers and empowering them to be self-sufficient and have a proactive approach to all while supporting the employee life cycle, including performance management, reward and resourcing. Through building relationships based on trust and providing experience based judgements, you will be able to have a direct impact on organisational performance.

As a generalist we need you to have experience within HR environments that have mixed demands; for example from retail and commercially driven outcomes through to corporate strategic objectives. Whilst you may be CIPD qualified, this isn't essential; what's important is that you have confidence to interpret policies and making pragmatic decisions on how best to advise managers. You will be methodical and well organised with specific knowledge of recruitment, employee brand, HR/Recruitment systems and disciplinary/investigation based work.
