The Commercial function at Gatwick Airport includes the Retail, Car Parking, Airline Relations, Property, Surface Access and Marketing teams. These sectors account for consolidated turnover of £300m p.a. and have been instrumental in the recent success of the airport. As Commercial Strategy Analyst you will gain in-depth experience across this wide range of business activities, and help to solve some of the most complex and pressing challenges the business faces.

The Commercial Strategy Consultant will be a key part of the newly created Commercial Analytics team, focusing on interrogating data to solve commercial challenges, by providing insight to senior management. These projects are complex and high-profile, providing the Commercial Strategy Consultant with significant opportunities for learning and career development.

The Commercial Strategy Consultant will be accountable for delivering information, insight and analysis to support long term strategic projects across the Commercial team. Supporting senior colleagues in decision-making or analytic modelling.

To be Successful can you demonstrate?

• Experience in strategy/management consulting
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills
• Strong commercial focus
• Advanced MS Excel skills to include pivots, index/match etc.
• Experience of working with Tableau, Business Objects, SQL, R, Cognos and/or Python would be advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience of working in the travel industry in a retail, yield management or commercial environment is advantageous
