Our client, a reputable Birmingham based charity organisation are currently seeking a Part Time Support Worker who has passion and enthusiasm for helping others live better lives.

You will be required to provide support to an employee with visual impairment who is employed to deliver courses across the West Midlands.

The key responsibilities of this Support Worker role:

Accompanying and driving too and from the course locations
Provide general administrative support
Assisting with computer based work
Helping the individual carry out risk assessments
Helping set up equipmentAs a Support Worker it is important that you:

Are caring, enthusiastic and passionate about improving the lives of others.
Have calm and patient persona
Are reliable and flexible
Proficient user of Microsoft based programmes, including PowerPoint
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Due to the nature of the role lifting will be requiresPart time = 15 hours per week (Flexibility on working hours is essential)

Pay rate £9.00 - £10.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Mileage / expenses will be paid for travelling to course locations
