The Education Network is looking for Tutors to undertake PART TIME positions teaching functional skills on a one on one basis. You will be asked to work on your own for either a morning or afternoon in different parts of East Yorkshire and North Yorkshire including Selby, York, Tadcaster. You will have experience in working with children who have learning difficulties and be able to plan short, sharp lessons that are engaging and in line with what is needed for that pupil. These positions are to start Autumn Term 2019. Experience as a classroom teacher within a school or college is essential for these positions. A car would be beneficial as a lot of these positions are in rural locations or in the home. Experience of intervention would also be useful as well as having very good communication and listening skills as a lot of the pupils will need that little extra patience. The placements are for 3 to 5 days a week for 2 to 3 hours per day.
