A 6 Months rolling contract for a Hygiene Operative (Driving) Part Time has arisen with the local authorities in Barnstaple.
The work is approximately 19 hours per week between midday Wednesday and Friday, initially for a period of 6 months.
The Hygiene Operative will job share with an existing employee - driving a Council owned / leased vehicle to safely and hygienically empty dog bins at various locations in The District, and transferring the waste to a waste transfer station.
The applicant should be self motivated, able to work safely on their own portraying a positive image of The Council at all times, and hold a full, clean driving licence.
Potential candidates will need to available for an informal interview on Wednesday 19th June.
Commencement date will be as soon as possible, to shadow the existing member of staff Monday to Wednesday - with full duties then commencing the week after.
