Our client has fantastic opportunities available for highly motivated and compassionate Full and Part Time Support Workers for a residential setting within easy reach of Gloucestershire and Stroud.
You will work as part of a small team to provide individual, high-quality, person-centred care and support to the service users, supporting them to reach their maximum potential with regards to independent living skills.
You will provide the service users with practical and emotional support, enabling them to have a fulfilled life and gain further independence. As a support worker, you will have the opportunity to be part of inspiring care and support for the service users.
In this role you will be supporting residents with their day to day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may get involved in exciting activities outside of the home too - the residents participate in day trips and much more!
Do you have…
A great sense of humour?
A friendly and caring nature which will help service users achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)?
The ability to support in-house activities and hobbies?
Resilience and confidence when managing behaviours that may challenge?
A full driving license and access to a vehicle?No experience is required as all staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support.
