Our client located in Fulwood is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to work as part of the Cancer Alliance team, providing an effective secretarial and administration service to the Senior Management Team. The role is part-time Monday - Friday for 22.50 hours each week. The hours need to spread over 5 days and hours of working can vary depending on meetings etc so you need to be flexible.

The Lancashire And South Cumbria Cancer Alliance is the vehicle for the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) to deliver the recommendations within Achieving World Class Cancer Outcomes.
The Cancer Alliance core delivery team is led by a programme manager and supported by a project team to deliver agreed key outcomes across five work streams of
" Prevention and earlier diagnosis
" Treatment and care
" Living with and beyond cancer
" Patient experience
" Cancer pathway re-design

" The post-holder is expected to take responsibility for delivery against this job description and annual objectives as agreed in objective setting and appraisal meetings

" Set, plan and prioritise own workload to deliver effective outcomes

" Take responsibility for own professional development and learning

Delivering High Standards
" To provide a skilled and full range of secretarial duties, to the Cancer Alliance Senior management Team, the Programme Director and other core members of the time including:

" Preparing documents, reports and materials in readiness for meetings.
" Arranging meetings, booking rooms and hospitality, compiling agendas; taking formal minutes and chasing follow up actions;
" Planning and updating diaries, maintaining effective bring forward systems
" Updating filing systems (paper and electronic)
" Ensuring all correspondence is accurately and appropriately presented, this includes proactive management of emails
" Word processing skills are essential
" Using proficient internet skills to access, search and retrieve information
" Handling queries and ensuring that relevant information is imparted and confidentiality is maintained
" Setting up conference calls and webinars
" Creating and designing presentations using PowerPoint
" Data input using databases, spreadsheets

Minute-taking experience is essential.
Medical terminology would be a bonus, though not essential
