Part-Time Trainer (15 hours per week)
Are you able to deliver a range of courses to Town and Parish Councils in the Berkshire and North Hampshire area? Then we may have the right opportunity for you!
Although travel to deliver courses in other parts of the county will occasionally be required, the primary focus is in North Hampshire and Berkshire. The role will be home-based (for which an allowance will be paid) and you will be required to attend quarterly meetings in Eastleigh and occasionally more. There is free parking available on-site.
Although the role is primarily about delivering content, you will also work with the L&D Officer to develop new content and to ensure current materials are up to date and reflect the needs of their customers.
Some previous experience of delivering a range of training courses is essential and they are happy to support you with gaining a relevant adult leaning qualification. Knowledge of the Town and Parish Council sector is highly desirable, as is an Adult Learning or CIPD Qualification (or equivalent experience).
The salary offered is £20-£22k pro rata and this role is offered on a 15 hours per week basis, to be worked flexibly. These hours are worked on an annualised basis as our Client offers very few courses during August and December. Therefore the successful applicant, with the L&D Officer, will be able to plan their hours around their other commitments. Given the geographical spread of the role, the ability to drive and access to a vehicle is a requirement of this role and travel will be reimbursed at HMRC rates.
This role is offered on an employed basis; however our Client is willing to consider the self-employment route for the right candidate
