We are now seeking an experienced Aviation Executive for a well-known and award-winning tour operator due to remarkable growth.
This inspiring tour operator offers various holiday types for travellers throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide. This exciting job opportunity is ideal for a travel professional with aviation experience within travel seeking something a little different.
Your career begins here duties include:
* Plan, source and negotiate with airlines for new and on-going product
* Control capacities between the airline and the Company’s in-house systems
* Quote and manage requests for upgrades
* Research routes and prices for product development
* Check GDS Queues
* Handle medical & special seating requests
* Issue individual & group air tickets (off IT fare etc)
* Liaise with product ops to ensure smooth operation of tours
* Arrange schedule change letters
Essential requirements:
* Aviation experience
* Thorough understanding of group/technology agreements with airlines
* Understanding/working knowledge of air operating procedures
* GRS trained FOR fares and ticketing with particular emphasis on tour operator/group fares and operations
* Team player who can build strong relationships internally and externally
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
