Client Accounts Manager - Qualified

Up to £40k salary pro rata

My client is an establishing Chartered Accountancy practice based near Telford. It is not your typical brown paper bag accountancy practice and is transitioning towards a 100% cloud-based practice. Due to the significant growth over the past 12 months the practice now requires a qualified accountant to take the technical workload off the Director.

They are the local go-to firm for Xero and connected apps. Therefore the role would suit a dynamic individual (that is not a stereotypical accountant), who wants to embrace new technology, help grow the business and work with some amazing clients!

Overall purpose of the job:

This is a new role working closely with the Director, to help her through this exciting phase. Initially it will be a hands-on varied role whilst the business develops:

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
Preparation of Personal and Corporate Tax Returns
Preparation of Cash Flow Forecasts, Management Accounts, Year-end accounts, VAT Returns
Converting accounting records onto Xero Software
Providing Xero support and training to clients
Working closely with clients to help develop their business.
Knowledge and Experience Required:

Ideally fully qualified or equivalent.
Hands on individual who embraces cloud technology and is pro-active with software developments.
Strong communication skills and personality fit are essential
Xero experience is desired but not essential
