Hays Social Care are working with an outstanding provider in the South Worcester Area, providing vulnerable individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to have fulfilled lives and gain further independence.

We are currently looking for both full and part time support workers to work within a supported living setting for clients with mental health issues, including schizophrenia and personality disorders. You will also be responsible for supporting a residential setting that cares for adult's aged 40+ with a range of needs including Huntington's disease, learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, Korsakoff's syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis and some physical disabilities.

You will be supporting people through structured rehabilitation programmes, working towards personal goals and needs. Our client works closely with each individual and their families to make sure each care programme is carefully personalised.

Rehabilitation is tailored to the individual, including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, guided leisure time, vocational training and independent living skills.

Most activities will tend to be either one to one or in small groups and involve shopping, fishing, painting and making cards. The client also has two minibuses on site which allows plenty of trips out, including pub meals, swimming, and trips to the zoo. We can also offer you consistent work in a variety of fantastic settings, so you decide when you work, and how much you work.

You Will Need:
- Experience with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism and Complex Needs
- Professional Attitude

- A Willingness to Travel
- Drivers are desirable but not necessary
