We are looking for Support Workers who are living in the Devon area who are interested in supporting a young lady with Learning Disabilities. You would be supporting a young lady with physical and learning disabilities, on a one to one basis who is wheelchair dependant. She is diagnosed with Global Development Delay and Microcephaly. Personal care will be required, including hoisting, feeding and interacting with the individual. She requires 1:1 support to meet her needs and 2:1 with hoisting and continence care. Candidates are required to: Have experience of Manual Handling skills – hoisting, Infection Control, Dysphagia as well as the rest of their Mandatory Training. Have their DBS on the online update service Have a minimum of 1 years experience with working with service users with Learning Disabilities The role is part time and would be the following hours each week (25h) – Monday: 8.45am – 4.15pm Tuesday: 8.45am – 4.15pm Wednesday: 10.30am – 2.00pm Friday: 8.30am – 4.00pm If you are interested in this opportunity and would like to know further information, then please apply with this role with your most up to date CV.
