Our Development team work tirelessly to deliver a programme of 1,500 new homes per year for people in need.  We are looking for a proactive and driven Development Assistant to join our team in Bristol.

The role:

  • Provide proactive dedicated support to Senior Development Team members by way of diary management/travel arrangements, preparation of documentation, managing/delegating incoming and outgoing communications and updating the relevant systems.
  • Check and process payments received for Development schemes promptly to ensure that terms of contract/letter of appointment are met.
  • Accurately prepare and issue letters of appointments, ad hoc letter, mail merges, reports and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate the signing and sealing of legal documents in enable completion of key processes for schemes.
  • Coordinate the appointment of new consultants and contractors to ensure that paperwork is completed and signed off correctly.
  • Support colleagues in the use of Electronic Document Management (EDM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Stakeholder Relationship Management (SRM) and other digitalisation projects to ensure the department is agile when managing incoming and outgoing information.  
  • Deal with enquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.

  • Able to work proactively at a fast pace and under pressure using own initiative and within a team to meet objectives and targets.
  • Able to effectively use IT applications.
  • Able to communicate confidently and work effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Flexible approach and open to change.
  • Commitment to high personal standards and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to innovation, quality, customer service and value for money.
  • Effective decision maker.  

Appointment to this role will be subject to a references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
