Staff Nurse - Step down Mental Health Rehabilitation Hospital

Location: Leeds

Salary: up to £31,297.50 + benefits (£16.05 per hour) - negotiable depending on your experience

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)

Shifts: Options of Days only (7.30am - 7.45 pm) or Nights only (7.30pm - 0745 am) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference

Further Details : An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified or experienced RMN, to work within fantastic Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation and Recovery Hospital situated in Garforth in Leeds. The Hospital has excellent bus links to all local services. The Service provides rehabilitation services for females with mental health issues, The Hospital has an Outstanding or Good CQC rating across all areas. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant long-standing team including a nurse qualified service manager. The have a very low staff turnover and staff morale is very high. They are very big on staff development and training. They have an extremely high staff to patient ratio

Service Details: This Hospital is a secure environment with a full step-down service from intake and assessment to semi independent living options currently there are vacancies within the below units

Ward 1 - Enhanced Locked rehab unit for service users who require a rehabilitation pathway and/or additional support and/or would benefit from the enhanced environment which is 8 bedded, with a smaller number of service users and a higher staffing ratio than other wards to support their individualised journey of recovery working towards discharge to a less restrictive environment.

Ward 2 - 14 bed ward Provides assessment & stabilisation, for women with complex disorders primarily those with PD diagnosis /co and Mental illness &morbidity. Women may have stepped down from our low secure service or been admitted externally. Own dedicated access and reception to ward

The service has an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. Staff morale is very high.

There are also plenty of opportunities to undertake additional training courses externally on top of the extensive in-house training.

Shifts : The Service can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they are happy to consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only. Their shift pattern is 7.30am - 8pm (days) and 7.30pm - 8am (nights) and you will receive 2 hour break. Please state if you have any preferences on your hours and/or shift pattern in your application.

Location : The Service is very easily accessed by car. They are a 2 minute walk from a local bus stop down one straight road. They have free parking on site. Many employees cycle to work
