Full or Part-Time Hours Experience Essential Specialist Dementia Unit Good CQC An experienced RGN or RMN Registered Nurse is required to work as Ward Manager in a leading dementia care facility in Maidenhead. The service is fully CQC compliant and at the forefront of dementia care and makes use of state-of-the-art technologies and the latest research in addition to excellent staffing ratios to ensure residents living with dementia enjoy the best possible quality of life. Details of this RGN/RMN Ward Nurse Manager role and what the successful candidate will receive: • Ideally a contract of 44 hours/4 days per week, however applicants looking for 22 or 33 hours/2 or 3 days will also be considered • Competitive pay rates of £17 per hour, which increases to £18+ per hour following completion of a short probation • A comprehensive induction, with extensive learning and development opportunities and established career progression pathways within a leading care group • A great working environment in a fully CQC compliant home As RGN/RMN Ward Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for 15-20 beds and approx. 15 members of staff. You will coordinate, manage and monitor all aspects of care provided within the ward and will contribute to quality assurance and improvement in addition to supporting junior colleagues in their own professional development. What we are looking for in an RGN/RMN Ward Nurse Manager: • NMC Registered Nurse – Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN • Have at least 3 years post-registration experience and have undertaking training/have experience in infection control and clinical audit • Ideally have completed Diploma Level 5 or an equivalent qualification in Leadership & Management • Great interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, compassionate and pleasant nature • IT literate and confident using electronic care planning and medication management systems • Confident leading a team and demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to management If you are interested and would like more information, please call Andy Ingham at SYK Recruitment now on [...
