Salary: £110,000 circa pro-rata (negotiable)
Location: Ashgate Chesterield, Ilkeston Hospital or Derby Urgent Care Centre
Hours: Night Shift Cover – 00.00hrs – 08.00hrs Monday to Sunday (Earlier starting hours can be negotiated)
Are you a highly experienced Primary/Urgent Care Practitioner who has a firm grasp of issues surrounding Urgent Care Services? Do you have a MRCGP qualification or equivalent and be able to provide evidence of your continued academic and professional development?
Our Client have a number of part-time and full time posts available for GP’s to provide consultation and appropriate clinical management, of patients attending with injury and illness to the Primary/Urgent Care out of hours service.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a high quality Urgent Care service to the public in line with local and national priorities
- Undertaking all normal duties associated with a GP working in Primary/Urgent Care
- Contributing to evaluations and audits, significant event reporting and clinical standard settings
- Developing and encouraging positive working relationships with local GP practices, drug and alcohol, mental health, dental, secondary care, housing and social work services
Key Skills:
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In order to be successful in this role you must be qualified to MRCGP, currently be registered on a performers list, have a valid registration with the GMC and be licensed to Practice.
