We are a registered care and support charity that offers services to just over 6000 people within the Midlands. These services include supporting people within registered care, domiciliary care, people with learning difficulties, those with mental health issues, young people at risk, older people, BME groups, people at risk of being homeless and those fleeing domestic abuse. Trident has over 50 years of delivering homes, services and innovation in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands. It employs more than 800 staff, works with over 150 volunteers and provides training places and apprenticeships for many more.
About the role
Due to continued growth we are looking for Senior Care Worker for are registered care home Windsor House in Oswestry. Windsor House is a registered care homes for up to 10 adults with learning disabilities who require support for all aspects of their daily living needs, including personal care, meal preparation, shopping and social activities.
We are looking for candidates who would like to develop their career in supporting people with complex needs and have a good understanding and working experience of autism, mental health and learning disabilities.
About You
* Excellent Communication skills
* Reliable and punctual
* Hold a minimum of Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or another relevant qualification specific
* Excellent numerical and literacy skills
* High level of professional integrity
* Person centred approach
* Knowledge of working within the sector
In addition we are looking at offering flexible working patterns to suit the needs of the individual so you can have the work-life balance to suit you. These hours vary from full time /part time to job sharing opportunities. Training to promote development and opportunities would be available for successful candidates.
