Gel resourcing are looking for candidates to train with our client and become a PIP disability assessor. This role would involve full training, with the option of full and part time hours available.
The role of a disability assessor role is to conduct personal and independent assessments for patient's/service users and to use this information to analyse and interpret all available information, along with medical evidence and provide a report in a professional and concise manner.
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
(E) Essential, (D) Desirable
Physios/OTs
Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist (E)
Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) (E)
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT's (COT) (E)Paramedics
BSc or Qualified Paramedic (E)
Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) (E)Nurses
Qualified Nurse (E)
Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) (E)Other
Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office (E)
Previous experience of using online/computerised reporting templates/databases (D)
Previous example of working within Clinical Audit / Report Checking Department (D)
Previous experience of conducting personal assessment (D)
DBS and BPSS CHECK REQUIRED: Yes
