The UK Atomic Energy Authority have an excellent opportunity for a HR Administrator to join their team within the Human Resources department. The team supports UKAEA`s employees through recruitment, development, payroll and management activities.

Key accountabilities/responsibilities include:

Administration of all pay related changes on the HR IT system and external payroll system, ensuring that they are carried out accurately and in a timely manner with respect to payroll deadlines and pay queries.

Working closely with HR Advisors and HR Business Partners to ensure that all letters, forms etc are issued correctly and efficiently.

Provision of excellent customer-service to recruits and employees, ensuring prompt and efficient responses to queries.

Ensuring that HR working instructions/checklists/letters/forms are accurate and appropriate - spotting opportunities to simplify or improve.

Ensuring that personal files are maintained and up-to-date.

Responsible for handling personal data appropriately and in line with the Data Protection Act.

HR project work/specific responsibilities (eg coordination of induction day, issuing probation documentation, spot bonus/Culham awards, running data reports).

Carry out recruitment administration with candidates, including maintaining contact during recruitment, gathering ID, completing security clearance paperwork and production of offers of employment.

Providing support to the recruitment function as required, particularly meeting and greeting interview candidates.

Knowledge skills and experience

Essential

-Administration experience (HR admin experience preferable)
-Excellent customer service skills
-Excellent IT skills (especially excel)
-Ability to treat sensitive data appropriately and with discretion

Desirable

- CIPD qualification (or working towards) would be preferable
- Experience of payroll would be advantageous but not essential
