Our client in Oxford are currently recruiting for many weekend staff to join their team on an ongoing basis.
Our client are responsible for keeping the hospital clean and tidy to an exceptional level. The successful candidates will be cleaning in all areas of the building; such as wards, reception areas, corridors, waiting areas, toilets, shower rooms etc. You will be expected to use different chemicals for different surfaces/locations (training will be provided), and occasionally you will need to use machines (buffer/polish machines, vacuum cleaners etc).
Training will be provided.
Due to the location of the role, you will be in contact with both members of the public, hospital staff and patients. This can involve performing your duties around vulnerable and sick patients.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will be polite, well presented and MUST be respectful to patients at all times. Please consider the nature of the location when applying.
A DBS check is required for all candidates working on the premises. We are able to complete DBS checks for all new candidates following an onsite interview and induction.
Therefore, it is not essential that candidates applying for this role are current DBS holders, although this would be preferred.
Candidates will attend an interview on site (approx. 30 minutes) where they will be given an overview of the role and what is involved.
You will complete the DBS forms during the interview – and are able to start immediately, whilst the DBS is ordered ( – but during this time you will work alongside a permanent member of staff at all times. There will be no charge for this.
All candidates applying must be aware that they will be required to under go an occupational health questionnaire in your interview.
PPE is not required & all new starters are provided with uniform.
We have a wide range of shifts from full time to part time – across a variety of days.

- The pay rate is £8.21 per hour
- £11.75 per hour per hour overtime after 37.5 hours (overtime available).
