Our purpose is to be the leading 1st Line Risk Function in Financial Services in the UK. We work collaboratively to guide, support and challenge on all risk related matters, and we are responsible for the successful delivery of the risk agenda against internal and regulatory requirements. This role represents an opportunity for a highly motivated Risk professional to work at the heart of Group Transformation business.


What would you be getting involved with?


You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering positive outcomes for customers, protecting Group Transformation & CIO by supporting the business to identify report and mitigate risks.


What you'll be doing..

  • Act as a trusted advisor on all matters of Risk to the IM Director
  • Work collaboratively and maintain relationships with the Investment Management Director and their teams to ensure the appropriate escalation of risks to the Risk Committee
  • Support the business areas to maintain Divisional Risk Profiles, ensuring that current and emerging key risks are understood and mitigating actions in place
  • Collaborate with the wider COO Business Risk team to support the oversight of adherence to risk appetite
  • Facilitate relationships between the Business Risk, Second Line Risk, Group Internal Audit and Regulators to resolve outstanding actions.


About you…

  • You must be a transformational leader, who clearly demonstrates drive, energy, commitment and integrity, and with a track record of strong delivery on "Hows".
  • You'll need to be an experienced Risk professional, with experience in Risk Management in a similarly complex, constantly changing, regulated environment.
  • You'll have an understanding of the challenges facing Group Transformation COO and Investment Management, and an ability to derive value from risk management, to make good risk decisions, and to drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience in making use of available data to make good decisions, and providing subjective insightful views.Lloyds
  • A capable communicator, you'll be well networked, confident, and effective in dealing with senior stakeholders.
