Our Client is a national charity providing care and support to people with learning disabilities. Our Client has a reputation for innovation in service delivery and providing high quality care and support; we also have a passionate belief in the rights of the people that we support to have choice and control in their lives.

The ladies residing within the home have profound multi learning disabilities and complex health needs. All the women are wheelchair users and have individual moulds to support them.

Nursing procedures include administration of all medication (controlled drugs, rectal Diazepam, suppositories and enemas), PEG and PEJ management, suctioning, postural drainage, monitoring of temperatures, oxygen administration, skin viability monitoring and prevention, diabetes monitoring and management.

The ideal candidates will be RNLD or RN qualified, skilled in catheter care, PEG and PEJ feeding, postural care, management of epilepsy and diabetes. They will require good interpersonal skills and need to win the hearts and minds of families.
