THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer in Sheffield to recruit a Part Time HR Administrator (24 hours per week over 3 days). The HR administrator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level supporting designated geographic regions.

THE JOB:

  • This position carries out responsibilities in the functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, and recruitment/employment and employment law compliance.
  • Organise and maintain employee records ensuring internal systems are kept up to date.
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts, offer letters.
  • Support the recruitment process from requisition approval to liaising with agencies and coordinating interviews to offer stage. Validating proof of right to work documentation.
  • Answer employee queries about HR related issues, with policy guidance.
  • Support probationary reviews and EPDR's to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Administration of third party payroll system including monitoring of time/attendance system, including tax/pension.
  • Administration of disciplinary and grievance letters, and minute taking.
  • Makes photocopies, mails, scans and email documents; and performs other clerical functions.

THE PERSON:

  • 1-2 years experience is required
  • CIPD Level 3 is desired
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • You must be able to work 24 hours per week. Mondays and Thursdays are the required days needed and they are flexible on either a Tuesday or Wednesday, however once chosen it will be stuck to those three days.
  • Hours are 08:30 - 17:00.
