Autonomy Care Group provides residential and community support for adults, children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join our growing team, based at our head office in Melksham, Wiltshire.

You will be a conscientious and meticulous individual, working closely with the Finance Manager, you will support the production of accurate and timely management accounts.

The role is primarily data entry with the scope to develop in the future, with main duties being, but not limited to:

* Credit control

* Reconciliation

* Purchase ledger

* Sales ledger

* Petty Cash

You do not necessarily need an accounts or bookkeeping qualification as we will consider applications from candidates qualified by experience.

This is a newly created role to support the growth of our company we would therefore consider full time or part time hours for the right candidate.Please state your preference on application.

Key skills required

• Ideally part qualified AAT, or other recognised bookkeeping or accounting / qualified by experience

• Strong communication skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines

• Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills

• Knowledge of Quickbooks desirable

• Strong IT skills, working knowledge of Word/Excel or Numbers/Pages
