Role Overview

You'll be joining us in a key Software Engineering role in the Analytic Services Component Team, working with products within the LIBOR and FRTB space on a Compute Grid Risk-PnL and XVA Calculation system based both on Cloud and on internal Data Centres.

We'll need you to have demonstrable server side C# skills with multi-threading, DataSynapse, and experience of Test Driven Development. Experience of an in-memory data grid such as coherence or Hazelcast is an advantage.

You'll need to be comfortable undertaking full stack QA testing tasks as a considerable part of the role and be willing to embrace agile methodology as part of a Component Team. engaging with Product owners, fellow engineers, and scrum masters.

Key Responsibilities

  • As part of the Models Feature Component Team run QA testing on the Risk and PnL system both independently and with fellow engineers.
  • Make changes to the Risk-PnL software stack using TDD, developing adequate understanding to ensure system stability and performance is maintained while delivering change to customers.
  • Interact with Product Owner, Quantitative Analysts, and Front Office Customers to understand, design, estimate and delivery solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Senior C# server-side developer
  • Kanban, Test Driven Development, Jenkins;
  • Azure (Batch, SQL, CosmosDB); or Tibco Data Synapse;
  • Secondary skills in Scala-Akka-Kafka will be at an advantage
  • A passion for delivering collaboratively and continuously with other engineers as part of an agile feature team, with a strong focus on delivering stable performant solutions
